IJ L Hoover have been drawing since she was a young child. Having a artistic family and a true love
for animals it just seem to fall in to place for Kritters-n-Pencil. She was very luck to have two very wonderful art teachers in high school.
Mrs. Carrol and Mrs. Hemerike who had faith in me and taught me the
skill that I needed to be a artist. Without their help she would not be
where a she is today. JJennifer would like to thank them and all the teachers out
there for all their hard work.
Over the years Jennifer has done water
colors, oil paintings, pen and ink drawings, pastels, colored pencils,
and painted ware able art on tee shirrs and sweet shirts. She even
branched out by doing cakes for a while. (Wedding, Groom, Baby
Shower, Specialty, and Birthday). With all Jennifer has done and been
exposed to she feels that Ishe can be call a artist in the true since. But
drawing with pencil has always been her first love in art..
With
having grown up with cats, dogs, many hamsters, gerbils, even a ginnie pig
, and as an adult she raising and showing horses for almost 20 years. Since getting married
and having two wonderful kids. We have been breeding and showing Border
Collies past 13 years . 11 years ago the family added rabbits and have up to 7 different breeds. Also included on the farm they have 7 cats, and 22 + chickens.
With
all these different type of animals that she has been exposed to over
life time she feels that she has a good understanding on how these and other
animals should look and feel. Which with all this her be able to transfer what she sees on to paper with a unique style. Jennifer hopes you will conceder to let her do a pencil drawing of your four footed family member.
Jennifer has been entering art contest and hes been doing well.. The Netherland Dwarf Club ask her to do the awards for their National Show in 2010. She have also been doing a drawing for the Bernese Mountain Dog Nationals or the last several years for their heath fund auction and her drawing have brough in from $750.00 to $3100.00.
